His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, chaired today at the headquarters of the emirate the meeting on preparations for celebrating the 96th National Day of the Kingdom, with the participation of officials from the relevant entities. During the meeting, His Royal Highness reviewed the preparations made to celebrate this national occasion, as well as the detailed tasks assigned to the security entities, administrative departments, and government bodies. Furthermore, His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of interaction and participation by various government entities, governorates, and affiliated centers in the region, alongside private and community sectors, in organizing events that correspond with this cherished national occasion, during which the epic of unifying the homeland by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud—may God sanctify his soul—is commemorated. The meeting also discussed a number of topics listed on the agenda, and the necessary recommendations were adopted regarding them.
