His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, chaired today the meeting on the preparations for the summer events of the Northern Borders Region in the cities and governorates of the region.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the ongoing preparations and the executive plans for the events and programs of the region's summer, and the efforts exerted to present diverse, qualitative programs that meet the needs of the residents and visitors.
His Royal Highness the Governor of the Northern Borders Region emphasized the importance of integration among the relevant authorities to ensure the implementation of the events according to the highest organizational standards, and in a manner that contributes to enhancing the quality of life, and enriching the recreational, cultural, and tourism options in the cities and governorates of the region.
His Highness stressed the importance of highlighting the tourism, natural, and heritage assets that the region abounds with, and presenting diverse events targeting various segments of society, contributing to stimulating the economic movement and supporting the tourism sector.
The meeting discussed a number of topics listed on the agenda and took the necessary recommendations regarding them.
