H.R.H Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Northern Borders Province, highlighted the key messages of the annual Royal Address delivered on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, by H.R.H Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may Allah protect them both, at the opening of the third year of the Shura Council’s Ninth Session.
His Royal Highness affirmed that the Royal Address embodied the steadfast approach of the Saudi State, established over three centuries and grounded in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace be upon him, while upholding the principles of monotheism and justice. He noted that this approach has established deeply rooted values and a strong national identity, upon which the Kingdom’s journey of development and progress continues to build.
H.R.H Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan pointed out that the achievements made over the past decade of Saudi Vision 2030, with the performance indicators of the Vision’s programs and strategies reaching 93% of their targets, reflect the scale of transformation taking place in the Kingdom and the competence of its male and female citizens, who have been at the heart of every success. He affirmed that investing in human capital and developing national capabilities and potential are fundamental pillars for sustaining development and preserving its achievements.
His Royal Highness added that the growth in non-oil exports, the increased contribution of the private sector to the economy, and the progress the Kingdom has made across several global indicators, as highlighted in the Royal Address, affirm the resilience of the national economy and its ability to adapt to changing circumstances and its capacity to pursue development priorities efficiently and sustainably.
H.R.H the Governor of the Northern Borders Province highlighted the Royal Address’s emphasis on the fact that the Kingdom’s advancement, prosperity, and the improvement of the quality of life for its people are the fundamental objectives of all government efforts. He further noted the continuous attention and priority accorded to the education and health sectors, alongside investments in human capital and the expansion of opportunities for citizens to enter the labor market, enabling them to serve as the driving force behind development.
His Royal Highness also referred to the Royal Address’s affirmation of the Kingdom's ability to safeguard its security and resources, as well as its commitment to de-escalation, supporting diplomatic solutions, and strengthening regional and international security and stability. He reaffirmed the Kingdom's steadfast position on the Palestinian Cause and its continued support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian People, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international terms of reference.
H.R.H the Governor of the Northern Borders Province prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and to perpetuate the Kingdom's security, glory, stability, and prosperity.
