His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, laid today the foundation stone for the veterinary bacterial vaccines factory project, in the presence of the Director General of the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Northern Borders Region, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Hutairshi.
His Highness listened to an explanation about the project, its components, and the stages of its implementation, as well as its role in developing the livestock sector and enhancing biosecurity, in a manner that contributes to supporting and localizing the livestock vaccines industry, and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
His Highness the Governor of the Northern Borders Region noted the support and attention the agricultural and livestock sector receives from the wise leadership may God support it , emphasizing the importance of qualitative projects that contribute to enhancing sustainability, developing investments, and supporting the food security system in the region.
The project is considered one of the specialized projects aimed at raising the efficiency of producing veterinary vaccines, enhancing national capabilities in this field, and supporting the services provided to livestock breeders.
