His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, received in his office at the Emirate the annual report of the region’s prisons for the year 2025 AD, during his reception of the Director of Prisons in the Region, Brigadier General Ahmed bin Ali Al-Qahtani.
The report included the most prominent work of the region's prisons during the past year, the reform and rehabilitation programs provided to inmates, as well as social care and vocational training programs, and cultural and sports activities.
His Highness Governor of the Northern Borders commended the support and attention received by the prison sector from the wise leadership, emphasizing the importance of reform and rehabilitation programs in developing inmates' capabilities and preparing them for the post-sentence phase, thus enhancing their positive integration into society.
