The Emirate carries out this role through a strategic direction built on effective governance, communication and integration, and empowerment and institutional capacity-building, which raises the efficiency of government work, unifies efforts, empowers people and places, and turns resources and opportunities into measurable, sustainable development results.

Based on its responsibilities under the Law of the Regions and its development and coordination role, and working with the relevant entities, the Emirate contributes to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 through:
